COMMERCIAL MARKINGS
Before you compete at Trials, please review the USOPC policies and practices related to the use or display of commercial marks at Trials events. For more information, check out this short video from our Athlete Marketing Classroom Series and the FAQ for Commercial Markings at Trials.
We encourage athletes to submit images of your uniforms or equipment that you anticipate using at Trials to your NGB in advance for pre-approval by the USOPC. If not approved, you may be able to use those items but would need to conceal unauthorized marks with tape for example, at Trials. To learn more, including how violations are handled, please review the full guidelines here.
UPDATE:
- Racing Wheelchair - At the USPTT - Track & Field, the World Para Athletic Uniform and Equipment Advertising Regulation regarding commercial marks for racing wheelchairs will be followed (Section 4.3.2). Racing wheelchair shall be regarded as three (3) pieces of equipment (two large wheels and a frame). The logo of the manufacturer may be displayed once on each item of equipment as commercially available.
